Good Hope Sunday Countdown: 7 Days to Go!October 29, 2023
As we edge closer to Good Hope Sunday, we're thrilled to shed light on the extraordinary Sarepta Rescue Center, under the dedicated leadership of Ana Tripp, who resides right here in the USA. Ana, along with 5 committed volunteers (Brad, Rapha, Paige, and Lisandra), takes the helm, steering the Sarepta Rescue Center towards a brighter future for the 40 children in Kenya.
Ana's Remarkable Leadership: Ana's leadership knows no boundaries. She champions the Sarepta Rescue Center's cause, ensuring that these 40 children receive the care, support, and hope they truly deserve. Her advocacy transcends geographical distances and brings hearts together, bridging the gap between the USA and Kenya.
Kenyan Dedication: In Kenya, a team of passionate volunteers works tirelessly:
Home Volunteers: These local heroes come to the orphanage every day, offering their time and effort to help with cooking, cleaning, and caring for the children. Their commitment is at the heart of this mission.
Home Matrons: Mama Sarah (known affectionately by the children) and Patricia, who is the head of the kitchen, are residents and full-time caretakers. Their nurturing presence is a cornerstone of the children's lives.
Home Support: Judy Muriu is a full-time worker who provides essential support to both the children and the Home Matrons. Her dedication ensures that the children are well cared for and that the daily operations run smoothly.
As we approach Good Hope Sunday on November 5th, let's celebrate the outstanding impact of the Sarepta Rescue Center, led by Ana Tripp's advocacy and with the invaluable contributions of these dedicated individuals in Kenya. Join us next week to learn more about how you can support and be part of this inspiring journey.
Projects: Currently, the Sarepta Rescue Center is focusing on raising funds for the home. Their current needs include monetary donations and contributions to cover basic requirements such as cleaning supplies, rent, school fees, and food.
