Our Impact 2022
Good Hope, Inc., was founded in 2006 by a group of passionate community volunteers with one goal: to help others. We believe that everyone deserves to have their basic needs met, and we are here to help make that happen.

Our Year In Review
Here at Good Hope, Inc, we've been busy these past few months, and we wanted to take a moment and recap our 2022 year. We’re proud of the work we’ve done, and we hope that it continues to make an impact on people who need help.
First of all, we were able to serve people in the North Shore of MA with our food pantry twice a month. In total, more than 18,000 individuals were served during the year-long project--an average of 1575 per month--Over 5,600 families received fresh fruit and vegetables as well as milk, meat and pet food to assist them and ease their financial burdens. Thanks to Lynnfield High School for donating $2000 in gift cards and 77 bags of food during our Thanksgiving outreach.

And then this April we went on a clinic trip to Kenya where we helped providing basic medical services, helping finishing the construction of a building for a future clinic, training soccer coaches and referrers, digging a well to provide water for the clinic and the community, visiting the community schools, churches, and Kibera slum.
In June 2022, we organized a 5k run called Running & Walking Well 5k event at Lynnfield High School- this event was held after 2 years break because of COVID-19 pandemic. The proceeds from this event went towards building our sixth well in Africa.
We also cooked food and delivered to homeless shelters once a month. Our goal is to bring awareness to the needs in our community, and provide food to those that need it most. In July, our own Leighton O'Connor launched a year-long trip going all over the United States partnering with Mission for Hope and Christian Jeep Association in efforts to bring homelessness awareness by distributing hygiene kits at shelters.
For Prison Ministry, the 9-member team raised money for 110 prisoners at the Lawrence Incarceration Center—aka "The Farm"—through donations of Christmas gift bags containing bibles and toiletry essentials.
We couldn't do any of this without you—our donors and volunteers—so thank you so much for your support. We're looking forward to another great year. We have lots of exciting things planned for the coming months, including our next big event: The Kenya Run For Clean Water, which will take place in April 2023. This event is made possible by our partnership with the Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge (through his non profit organization). We're so excited about this collaboration—not only because it means clean water for thousands of people in Africa who need it most—but also because it means an opportunity for us to raise money for an amazing cause.
