Our Impact 2025
Welcome to Good Hope, Inc., where compassion meets action. In 2025, we remained steadfast in our commitment to serve both local and global communities. Through our dedicated food pantry, we provided essential nourishment to families across Boston's North Shore, ensuring access to fresh produce, meats, and other perishable items. Our reach extended beyond borders as we successfully constructed a well in Aler, Uganda, delivering clean, life-sustaining water to an entire village. Additionally, our unwavering support for our homeless care program and partnerships with local organizations ensured that those in need received not just food, but also hope and a sense of community. These achievements were made possible through the collective dedication of our volunteers, donors, and partners, exemplifying the profound impact of a community united in compassion.

Global Impact
1. 5K
On June 7th, 2025, the 9th Annual Running and Walking Well 5K took place at Nahant Beach, MA. The event gathered hundreds of participants from the North Shore community, raising over $20,000 to bring clean water to over 6,000 people in Aler, Uganda. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of all participants and sponsors.

2.Well Constructed in Aler, Uganda
Beyond feeding the local community, Good Hope's impact stretched far beyond. In 2025, the organization successfully dug a well in Aler, Uganda, bringing clean, life-sustaining water to an entire village of approximately 6,000 people. This well provides 2,500-3,000 gallons of clean water daily, and a local maintenance committee has been established to ensure its long-term use. The work at the orphanage has been particularly meaningful, striving to provide not just food but also a sense of stability, love, and hope to these children who inspire us every day.
Rising to the Challenge: SNAP Benefits Crisis

In November 2025, Good Hope faced one of its greatest challenges when pending changes to the SNAP program threatened to delay or eliminate food support for countless families in our community. The impact was immediate — dozens of families reached out in a single week asking for food assistance.
In response, Good Hope launched an emergency $2.5K fundraiser to stock our pantry and meet the growing need. The community responded with overwhelming generosity, bringing non-perishable food donations and making financial gifts to ensure no family would go hungry.
Lynnfield Gives Back Food Drive
The Town of Lynnfield stepped up in a remarkable way. The Lynnfield Gives Back Food Drive — organized in partnership with Lynnfield for Love, the Town of Lynnfield, and the Lynnfield Rotary — ran from November 10th through December 17th, with all donations directly benefiting the Good Hope Food Pantry.
This initiative helped ensure that families in our community had access to essential foods during the holiday season, demonstrating the power of neighbors helping neighbors in times of need.
Homeless Care Program Relaunch
In November 2025, Good Hope, Inc. proudly announced the relaunch of our Homeless Care Program with the appointment of Shelove Duperier as our new Homeless Program Coordinator. With Shelove at the helm, we are planning fresh energy, renewed outreach, and deeper impact for those in need. We are actively seeking volunteers and community partners to join this exciting new chapter.
