Behind every number is a neighbor who needs a little hope.

It is easy to read a statistic and keep scrolling. Numbers feel big and far away. But every one of them has a face, a kitchen table, and a family doing the math on what to buy this week.

That is the story we want to tell today. And we want to invite you to be part of the next chapter.

48 million Americans. 14 million of them kids.

In 2024, nearly 48 million Americans experienced food insecurity. That includes around 14 million children.

These are not just statistics. They are families facing hard choices: groceries or the electric bill, a full fridge or a full tank of gas. Those choices get heavier during the holiday season, when the pressure to put food on the table feels louder than ever.

Right here in our community

Hunger is not only a national headline. It is happening on our own streets.

In 2025 alone, the Good Hope food pantry served 22,597 individuals and recorded 5,907 family visits.

Every visit is a family reached. A need met. A little more hope shared. Our volunteers show up on the first and third Thursday of every month at Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield, unload the truck, greet each guest, and make sure no one leaves empty handed.

That is what your neighbors are doing. The gala is how we help them keep doing it.

A Night of Hope: our first ever gala

On November 7th, Good Hope is hosting its first ever A Night of Hope Gala.

It is one evening, one room, and one community coming together for the families who count on us all year. Every ticket and every sponsorship helps Good Hope keep the pantry stocked, the doors open, and the lines moving on distribution days.

This is more than a fundraiser. It is the start of a tradition: a night where neighbors celebrate what we have built together and decide what we build next.
