Our Homeless Outreach January 2026

On January 17, 2026 our Good Hope team had the privilege of serving our neighbors in need at the Malden Warming Center (529 Eastern Ave, Malden).

 

With the help of our amazing volunteers — Shelove, Stephanie, and Nussi — we prepared and served food with love and care to those seeking warmth and support.

 

What we served:

40 hot meals (Rice & beans, fried chicken, roasted vegetables, and salad)

Cupcakes, juice, and water for dessert

25 peanut butter & fluff sandwiches for breakfast

15 breakfast sandwiches prepared for the next morning

 

The shelter had a capacity of 25 beds, and we’re grateful to be part of a community effort that brings comfort, dignity, and nourishment to those who need it most. Many expressed heartfelt gratitude — to the staff and to our volunteers — and moments like these remind us why this work matters.
