Food Pantry 03/21/24 – Providing for Our Community
April 6, 2024Venue Change
Due to the recent heavy rain and snow, Ross Memorial Park, our original venue for the race, is currently flooded. As a result, we have made the decision to move the start and finishing line to Covenant Christian Academy located at 83 Pine St, Peabody (0.5 mile from Ross Memorial Park).
Please note that all previous information regarding registration to collect your bibs at 7:30 AM and the race kickoff at 9:00 AM remains unchanged. However, the course has been modified to avoid flooded areas. You can find the updated course map on our website, and our course marshals will be on-site to guide you along the route.
We understand that parking is crucial for our participants. Please park next to the Covenant building. Due to parking restrictions, participants cannot park directly behind Covenant Christian Academy. However, additional parking is available at Elginwood Road, and overflow parking is available at West Church of Peabody located at 27 Johnson St, Peabody. Our team will also be onsite to assist with parking directions.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility in this matter. We look forward to seeing you at Covenant Christian Academy for a memorable day of running, community, and making a positive impact together.

About Good Hope, Inc.:
Good Hope, Inc., a nonprofit organization, exists to bring health and growth opportunities to individuals and families through the provision of food, medical care, education, clean drinking water, inmate and refugee support in communities locally and around the world. Because of the Executive Director’s roots in Kenya, in 2014 a partnership was built in which digging wells and providing water became a central focus of the organization. A 5K race was established on the North Shore of Boston to raise funds to dig the first well in Kenya. In the following years, wells have been dug in Tanzania, Ghana, Morocco, and subsequently a few more in Kenya. The Good Hope Green 5K is one of our flagship events, embodying the spirit of community, unity, and service.
