3 Days Left 5K 2025
June 4, 2025
Important Information Race Day
June 5, 2025We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — the Running & Walking Well 5K hosted by Good Hope, Inc. has been featured on Patch.com!
This recognition is not just a moment of celebration for us — it’s a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about the urgent need for clean, accessible water in Aler, Uganda. Each year, our 5K event gathers runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters from across the region with one shared goal: to bring hope through clean water.
This year marks our 9th annual 5K, and every step taken on race day is helping fund the construction of a sustainable well that will serve thousands in the Aler community — families, children, and even livestock, who currently walk nearly 4 miles daily just to access water that is often unsafe to drink.
We’re so grateful to everyone who has helped bring this mission to life — from participants and sponsors to silent auction donors and incredible volunteers. Your involvement is what makes this effort impactful and truly meaningful.

Why We Run. Why It Matters. 💧🏃♀️
Every step taken in our 9th Annual Running & Walking Well 5K is about more than just a race — it's about hope, health, and humanity.
Right now, the community of Aler, Uganda walks over 3.7 miles daily to fetch unsafe water shared with animals. Children carry heavy jerry cans. Families face illness, and the current water source is drying up. 🌍💔
We're running to change that.
With your help, we’re raising funds to dig a deep, sustainable well — bringing clean water to thousands and transforming daily life for an entire village.
💙 Join the movement. Make every step count.
