Here is a recap of our Running and Walking Well 5k. 😄Thank you all who run, walked, volunteered, sponsored this great cause. 🙌All funds raised go towards digging wells in Africa. 💧Safe water is scarce. Every day in rural communities in Africa, statistics show that about 24% of the 1.37 billion people in Africa suffer without access to clean and safe water for drinking, 💦household use, and agriculture. And this has resulted in countless deaths and diseases, especially in children. Let's change that by helping those in need, join forces with Good Hope in helping alleviate these conditions. 🤝💙
Doing Good Together
Because of you, we were able to fund three wells in Ghana in 2016, a well in Leala, Tanzania in 2015 and a well in Moi's Bridge, Kenya in 2014 and most recently a well in Morocco (2019). These wells provide drinkable water for schools and thousands of adults and children in the surrounding villages. Prior to the wells being dug some villagers had to walk up to four miles to get drinkable water.
