✨Since 2014 Running and Walking Well 5K event gather hundreds of people around the North Shore.🏃♀️🏃♂️ This has been a great family event, and proceeds will go towards to provide access to clean and drinkable water to as many communities as we can in East, West and North Africa. ✨
This year, the race is scheduled to take place on April 6th, 2024, Saturday, at 9:00AM at Covenant Christian Academy in Peabody, MA.
This annual event is not just a run; it's an opportunity to make a significant impact. The name of the race has changed to Good Hope Green 5K, which aims to raise funds for the construction of wells, bringing clean and accessible running water to communities in need around the world.
In recognition of our well donation, the families that benefit from the new well, whether a church or school, are encouraged to plant at least 100 trees in their community, contributing to the fight against climate change.

Doing Good Together
Because of you, we were able to fund three wells in Ghana in 2016, a well in Leala, Tanzania in 2015 and a well in Moi's Bridge, Kenya in 2014 and most recently a well in Morocco (2019). These wells provide drinkable water for schools and thousands of adults and children in the surrounding villages. Prior to the wells being dug some villagers had to walk up to four miles to get drinkable water.
